    Thanks. By two phases, it looks like they mean two buildings at 21 stories. I'm thinking they might eventually connect them like the Mosaic towers.

    Yes, now is the time to build. Right now, there isn't enough Class A space in Downtown if a large company wanted to move here. I think it's okay if the occupancy rate dips down under 90% every now and then. I love this location too, but I don't think it's right for a Super-tall. I would want a Super-tall to be built more in the center of downtown.

    Wow, this is a game changer. Is it still being built in two phases? If it is, has the second phase increased in height as well?

    This is great news. This is the last remaining lot surrounding Market Square. Now if only they could add a hotel component to this it would be perfect.

    I actually like the downsized crown. I think the big crown wouldn't have lasted as well over time. Anyways, I think this building will look great and I can't wait for it to go up.

    Atlanta's midtown and downtown are connected by continuous development, so I think it is fair to compare them to downtown Houston. Looking at the two maps, it looks like downtown Houston and midtown+downtown Atlanta have about the same number of total projects, but Atlanta has much more high rise residential buildings proposed. I think that Uptown and Upper Kirby are the most to blame for downtown lacking in high rise residentials compared to Atlanta. While I might give a slight edge to Atlanta in overall building design, I still think 609 Main is better than anything proposed in Atlanta.
