This site has been used as a laydown site for the Astoria condos going up on Post Oak. The sign for development remains out on the property (and the Master Plan remains largely similar to what was indicated above).
Once the Astoria is complete, I wonder if we will see movement on this site--particularly with BHP Billiton and Amegy Bank building new headquarters nearby.

probably not.. its on 12 stories of parking garage. plus, 2929 Weslayan is 40 stories. and that 40 story Market Square residential should hopefully be in the pipeline soon (though also on a garage)..

damn.. poor Cosmopolitan.. first Five Oaks Place, now this.. they soon they wont have a view except for the narrow sides facing east and west.
i know its conceptual, but its neat to see them place a tall building like that on this plot. was this proposed as all office space?
The video really didn't say or give a hint on what it would be. My guess is mixed-use, thats the trend we have going on. Although its just for marketing purpose.
