  1. im really thinking about signing up for a lease here. they said rent would start off at 1800 for a studio im guessing, but usually theres always one month free or something offers. I cant wait to actually see the prices come out. Im guessing with the current oil slump I may actually be able to get a deal under 2k.

I'm expecting an invite to the cantilevered pool.

  2. The Dallas guy is kinda right.  for the business travelers that will be the bulk of riders and who's employer will pay for rentals and transportation it's not a big deal. but for the average citizen of Dallas that may want to visit Houston for sporting events, conventions, concerts, museums, performing arts, TMC, The Zoo, college, The Rodeo, or just about any recreational activity the NW Mall location is really lame. No matter what they build there. Which will probably be a couple of crappy hotels, a couple of rental car places, a starbucks, a chick-fil-a, and a Pappasito's.

  3. If that were true, don't you think there would be police set up to catch everyone? I think we might be stepping into stereotypes here

Much drug use, prostitution, and fighting go down here. It often provides entertainment for my buddy and me while drinking beers on his 2016 Main balcony.

    I've seen some crazy stuff.

  4. Worst forward ever. Play some D dude.

Seriously though, seems like every bar and restaurant in town has at least a few craft options nowadays. Karbach Hopadilo is everywhere it seems.

For variety and number of craft beers available, I don't think anything compares to the classic Flying Saucer. but it's probably far from being the most interesting place to drink.

I've never drank a beer I didn't like. but my favorite go-tos are really heavy imperial stouts and really bitter IPA's.

My latest favorite is Saint Arnold's Boiler Room Berliner Weisse. It's a sour wheat that is very sour. The waitress warned that it wasn't good and that nobody liked it, so I had to try it. None of my group liked it, but I loved it and sometimes get a strong craving for it even though it's only 3.7%.

My favorite non local brewers are Green Flash, Founders, and Stone.

Houston beers that i prefer are 8th Wonder's Hopston and Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co.'s More Cowbell.
