Jayhawker Posted July 23, 2022 Share Posted July 23, 2022 I’ve noticed for the last few months that this building had been been gutted and then painted, so I was wondering what was going on. I drove by today and saw there’s a temporary sign out for Tokyo Joe’s. A quick google search yielded that this will be Tokyo Joe’s Shot Bar. Sorry if there’s already a thread for this location. This is located in Shady Acres at 2001 Beall St. About a week and a half ago, Tokyo Joe's wrote this on Instagram: "We're getting close! IntheKnowHouston Posted October 10, 2022 Share Posted October 10, 2022 Tokyo Joe's opened about two weeks ago at 2001 Beall St. It's the latest bar addition to W 20th and W 19th Streets in Shady Acres. It seems at least some neighbors residing in close proximity to the bar aren't fans. Most of the reviews on Tokyo Joe's Google Map listing reference the noise.
