    There are (was) fountains, a zen garden, shared bikes, green space and a restaurant between the buildings. Not sure if this is all still there. This was pre-GITI (Givin it to India).

    Today during lunch I saw a bum touching people and asking for money all while climbing up the cubes showing everyone his Debuffet. Oh the HUMANITY!

    People use to sit and smoke on the Debuffet in the old location. Why not let kids play on it? We used to call it "the jungle gym".

    I am only spekaing to Rick's comments about not coming back to Houston and play UH. The series between the two schools is tied. One would think...I Instead keep playing Texas State, UC Davis, and TSU, et. al.

    Cost aside, you can bet the La Quinta will have nicer rooms than the Hyatt. My Canadian cowokers said the Hyatt is a big time bumb. But I understand they are working on it. They stay at the Magnolia hotel now.

    This will be a great place for after work drinks and oysters. We need more after-work choices. Last week we blew $700 at the downtown Morton's and it was terrible. I had to tell the cook it was low grade dog food. I've had better food at the ballgame, you know?     I will miss the view of the TMC (driving up Fannin) @ Congress St. It was quite the canyon with the cool view.
