MAA Afton Oaks: Multifamily At 3131 West Loop S.
urban909 replied to lockmat's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
In 1980 there were around 10,000 billboards. Recently, in 2008 almost 900 were removed; 67 in 2010 and 2011 which leaves around 1,500 in which most are within city limits. This year there has been talks of a new deal that is going to see the removal of 140 more. So all in all, there has an 85% reduction in billboards across the city. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/City-eyes-deals-on-billboard-eyesores-6013365.php- 93 replies

The N700-7000 series is double-ended. Here is a link that shows a typical 8-car set. Just scroll down about 3/4th of the way down and it will show you the set-up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N700_Series_Shinkansen

Here is one for the A380 with Houston as the originating airport. Granted there is a lot more that goes into range (i.e. payload, passengers, etc).

I was at a luncheon over at the Petroleum Club and thought I'd get a shot in. I'll probably be able to do that about once a month.
