  1. The mall is next door to the Town Center. As for building a riverwalk, I doubt it. Their current project is more than ambitious enough.
  2. No deal at all if you actually shop there. I find it frustrating to constantly hear people whine about what Houston doesn't have. It never fails that when we do get what it is that they were whining about - they still don't go or utilize it. What stores you have in your malls is not a bragging right.
  3. I think you could put a soundwaves in this development and still have a Virgin megastore. The Virgin megastore will sooth all your top 40 teeny-boppers, while soundwaves could focus on their vinyls, indies, skate/surf gear. The Virgin megastore would be your tourist attraction, while soundwaves is the hometown shop - downtown. Oh, I don't buy cd's - but kjb434: What did you mean by people who buy cd's at Bestbuy or Warehouse music have been missing out?
  4. You make a good reason for their return, I seriously doubt that this is why he hoped DG would come back.
  5. I'm telling you, San Antonio is where its at.
  6. Yes, "we dumbfounded" [sic] by the inherent disregard towards decent grammar. I can forgive bad spelling - but for Christ's sake read what you type before you click "add reply". This type of behavior is no different than that of "think before you speak". You'd be amazed how few arguements you get into that way. Don't be afraid of the "edit post" button - it is your friend. Also, try: www.dictionary.com. It's free for crying out loud! Oh, and if you're an immigrant with poor English - then throw a little "(sp?)" action out there every now and then to let everyone know that you're at least trying and care. This post is not meant to offend - but rather make aware. Can you blame "George & Martha" for doing so? I know that I would want the same courtesy granted by my neighbors if they were moving out. Its neighborhood preservation. Name one group of people that would mind a "Death Row" (or similar ilk) recording artist living in their neighborhood? I know I wouldn't want someone who publicly makes money by musically soliciting violence, drug use, alcohol abuse, women abuse, immorality, or finacial irresponsibility. But hey, that's just me.
  7. The Paul Wall song names all the players and the year. The Chamillionaire song doesn't. So ten years from now, when the Astros are in the play-offs, they'll be able to resurrect Chamillionaire's song - but not Paul Wall's. I'm sure Chamillionaire's producers did this for one reason.. money.
  8. I'm ready to sign a petition to donate our team & management to New Orleans and just wait for the next expansion. Texans are pathetic. The name is pathetic, the logo is pathetic, the players are pathetic, the coaching is pathetic, the management is pathetic, and McNair is just a moron. GO ASTROS!
  9. "Yes, Cuban B".. Its tight huh? I like songs that are loose.
  10. Looking south along Main St. will give you a similar view with Highrises on one side and giant oaks on the other. It makes me think of NYC's central park. Also, I'd love to see Uptown infill with more mid & high-rises over the next 20 years.
  11. You all need to calm down. Championship teams take time (and luck!) to build. We just got rid of one of the biggest problems: Chris Palmer. How can you expect any offense to do anything when its coordinator is blind?
