Just drove this week from Sterling Ridge to Alden Bridge on newly opened Kuykendahl. Very nice quick drive now. What is the large body of water to your left as you go north on this road? Looks like a reservoir or holding basin of some sort, future "lake front homes" area possibly. Very nice...

that would be the bear branch lake and reservoir. the area around this lake and reservoir will not be developed with the exception of alden lake park serving the residents of alden bridge. the current map of this area allows no space for future development.

Extension of Woodlands Parkway has both advantages and disadvantages for area residents

The Woodlands Parkway has become a major thoroughfare, extending from Interstate 45 to FM 2978. This has presented advantages and disadvantages for area residents. Because of the expansion of the parkway, there is now increased growth in The Woodlands, along with an increase in traffic accidents along the thoroughfare also.

the timed traffic lights in town center along grogan's mill and lake woodlands drive will be a great improvement.
