pineda
What changed, bach? What caught the Woodlands attention so much so that they suddenly feel they need lobbyists in Austin? Is it just the potential annexation issue or something else? What changed the flip into a flop here?
bachanon
seeing as they are using existing board members, i can only assume that they didn't need or want to pay for a full time lobbyist. maybe the make up of the texas state legislature has changed in a way that they feel the need to keep an eye on things. The appointments sprung from a recommendation of a joint legislative action committee made up of members of the three branches of the Community Associations of The Woodlands, each of which handles issues for different homeowner or business interests in The Woodlands.it will be interesting to see what unfolds.
