KimberlySayWhat
You never hear anything about Forbidden Gardens. The first I heard about it was a couple of years ago when I saw a piece on the Travel Channel about it. I couldn't believe it was so close, yet I never even knew it existed. It looks really neat. http://www.forbidden-gardens.com/index.html
Trae
How is business at that place?
KimberlySayWhat
I don't know, but I just read on another website that it's going through some restoration that should cost around $4 million or so because of the sun damage and such. Also some several of the figures have been smashed by vandals, but they're unable to replace them because the original mold is no more.http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/TXKATforbidden.html Edited July 31, 2006 by KimberlySayWhat
ricco67
I've been to the place and it's a terrific place to go and chill. I'd highly recommend it.Its' a shame that it was hit by vandals, the terra cotta soldiers are fascinating!
Trae
To bad the Grand Parkway is going to run right behind those soldiers. The GP will be at the extreme right of the Forbidden Gardens, and noise might be a problem. Edited July 31, 2006 by Trae

editor
I went there twice in two years. Really liked it. Nice and quiet. Hardly anyone there, so you can really think and absorb what you're looking at. Worth a trip.
YakuzaIce
Been there twice, last time I was there (two years ago) they seemed to be working on some new things. I may try and get around to going again; it was interesting before.
