Guest Plastic
Oh yes, I don't think it will hurt Katy Mills. That Mall and Katy Mills would sell different products. This would be a real mall, Katy Mills is an outlet center. Building Town And Country and Westwood down the road from Memorial and Sharpstown wan't smart. Both closed. Thos emalls were all alike. The Marqu-e is right down the road from The Galleria, but they're different so theydon't compete with one another. Let's not forget the original malls that suffered a chain reaction of decline. Northline declined due Willowbrook, Greenspoint and Northwest; in turn Northwest suffered because of the Galleria; Greenspoint declined because of Humble Mall and Willbowbrook. Even if a new mall on South Main near the Park were to be built, Meyerland Plaza and Rice Village would be flushed down the toilet within ten years. Greenspoint suffered from the general decline of the area, and the fact that all the wealth packed up and went north to the Woodlands.
