KimberlySayWhat
I've seen several articles about it. Why the big deal? http://ww.tuaw.com/2006/06/13/memorial-cit...ning-announced/
skwatra
not sure what the big deal is, but i like MattH's response on there. the urban Apple stores are really cool, like the one in SoHo. Though this is just another one in a mall.
Trophy Property
not sure what the big deal is, but i like MattH's response on there. the urban Apple stores are really cool, like the one in SoHo. Though this is just another one in a mall.I bought a new Ipod last Saturday (actually my wife bought it for my birthday). We went to the store in the Galleria. I would have much rather gone to Memorial City. As for the store, it is cool, but nothing special. It is maybe 2,500 SF of retail space. They have abot 6 different Ipods to choose from. They also sell a lot of Ipod accessories which is pretty cool. The rest of the space is taken up with Mac's and computer stuff which I have no need for right now. I was hoping for some free downloads off Itunes with a $350 purchase. They should hook you up with 5 Downloads per $100 or something cool. I ended up staying up till 2:00 am on Saturday downloading music. I spent over $100 on Itunes. OUCH.
Montrose1100
When the Woodlands Mall got an apple store, there was no big annoucement, just a small notification of what was going there before it opened.
