Apparently, someone sat down and patiently explained to Kristol that Colbert is a brilliant satirist, and that he (Kristol) had been completely had in public. Can't find a source for the video, but here's the transcript of the Colbert/Kristol interview. What makes Colbert so enjoyable to watch is that he skewers his guests with such deadpan ease. Some may find his humor crueller than Jon Stewart's, but bear (BEARS! ) in mind that he is only holding people accountable for their views, which generally are very cruel.
