Eugene Phillips

is there anyone out there who remembers or knows of an

architect from the mid-20th-century--Eugene Phillips--who

was active in houston residential arch? among the houses

he did were one or more in riverside + timber creek areas.

The only Phillips in the Houston Architectural Guide (and the only one Ben Koush knew about when I ran the question by him) is W. Irving Phillips, who seems to have been more focused on 1970s concrete commercial buildings.

If you get more info please post it here to solve the mystery for us as well. Do you have addresses? Know a firm he worked with?

1950's architects are not usually the easiest people to get quick info on unless someone already cared enough to dig it up.

I can't check right now, but when I get back I'll check the 1971 AIA guide to Houston. That is sometimes a good starting point on mid-century architects.
