Thanks. I am going off the permit which lists Comerica Bank. Since Park Place Memorial Management LLC (The Rama Companies) owns the property, my assumption is Comerica Bank is leasing the property. You are probably right about 5440 Memorial Dr being torn down (although, it wasn't that long ago the current building was built). However, if Comerica Bank is opening a branch at this location, they're leasing... unless the bank is in process of acquiring the property. At present, there are no records indicating a recent sale. An architectural barriers project filing for 5440 Memorial Dr was filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) in February. As previously posted, a new Comerica Bank branch is going up on the site. Located on the corner of Memorial Dr and Reinicke St, Pollo Bravo restaurant previously operated on the property. The building was razed in 2016. Shortly thereafter, a new one was built. A Verizon retail store operated there until either 2020 or 2021. Just to confirm: Comerica Bank is indeed leasing the forthcoming building at 5440 Memorial Dr. Listed in an architectural barriers project filing from February is the name of the property owner. As noted a few posts up, Park Place Memorial Management LLC (The Rama Companies) owns the property. Comerica Bank is not listed as the tenant; however.
