Talked with another rigger today and asked him why they didn't just make the tower crane higher when they first installed it? He said they couldn't get the extra section they needed at the time. They are adding a small section and a full 20' to add to the height necessary to complete the building. They are in the process of taking it apart now.

After driving by on Friday, I find it hard to believe that it really is open for residents.  Leasing, sure.  

 

If it is move-in ready, I'm not sure I'd want to move in with the surrounding streets all ripped up.
