Blue Dogs
Since the majority of the discussion has been focused on the Mayoral campaign, we haven't put much talk into the open City Controller's seat, which is the 2nd most-powerful officeholder in Houston city government. 3-term City Controller Ronald C. Green (D) is term-limited from seeking reelection to a 4th 2-year term due to the city's term limits, so we've got 5 candidates currently running to succeed him: 1.) Chris Brown: the son of former City Councilman Peter Brown 2.) Jew Don Boney (D): former City Councilman, District D 3.) Bill Frazer: Runner-Up from the 2013 election. 4.) Dwight Jefferson 5.) Carroll Robinson (D): former City Councilman At-Large 5 & former Houston Community College Trustee http://offthekuff.com/wp/?p=67584 http://houston.culturemap.com/news/society/04-24-15-young-professional-launches-campaign-for-city-controller-with-rainbow-coalition-bash/ Which one of these candidates is your favorite & will we see this contest go into a December runoff. If so, who will win the runoff ?

JLWM8609
I think we'll see a runoff between Brown and Robinson.
