trymahjong
http://www.khou.com/story/news/crime/2015/04/22/suspects-leave-mess-after-smashing-truck-into-midtown-store/26168715/ This is actually in Montrose and across the street from FBar! I can't understand all the criminal action suddenly in that area. I've spent years listening to PIP HPD Central one Capt (4 different Captains in 10 years) patiently explaining that my area Avondale gets a bad rap as far as crime goes. In the Crime stats that are passed out each month the worst crime is BMV---what is going on?

Fringe
What is the traditional dividing street between Montrose and Midtown? To me it's always been Montrose. But Taft may me a better choice.
trymahjong
Neartown Association uses Bagby as it's eastern boundary-- Avondale's eastern boundary is Brazos street-- So I would say that Sunny's and Fbar are both located inside what is traditionally thought of as Montrose.
