Slick Vik
Just heard a report on the world that the next time Beijing hits dangerous pollution levels it will only allow half of the the cars on the road. It will alternate by odd and even license plates. Good to see steps being taken, luckily they have the mass transportation to take in the influx of people. arche_757
^Do they? It would seem that perhaps they do not..? They already did this during 2008 and the Summer Games. I think they limited driving for several months, to cut down on emissions, and I'm sure that was a hardship for the citizens.
IronTiger
It seems like a desperate measure to get an out of control pollution problem under control, but I think it's more of an unchecked industry pollution problem. I hope you aren't thinking it's some trendy idea that the rest of the world should follow. Edited November 22, 2013 by IronTiger
LTAWACS
Perhaps less cars should be sold to chinese people? Or make them more expensive.
august948
Wanna bet that Chinese Communist Party officials, other bigwigs and their families are going to be exempt?
