Talbot
Very nice shots, I really didn't think OKC would look like that, but thanks for showing them and setting me straight.
MidtownCoog
That music hall looks a lot like the Cullen Performance Hall at UH. http://www.uh.edu/cph/
brijonmang
i really had no idea OKC looked like that either...nice pics though...im impressed
tomv
Very nice. How come no shots of Bricktown and the riverwalk with the water taxis? I thought that was a big deal up there.
Sooner&RiceGrad
Downtown's own renaissance speaks for itself. The Skirvin is much more exciting these days.Bricktown is still booming though. Toby Keith just opened a new concert hall last Wed. there.P.S. The last one IS on the canal.

YakuzaIce
Great Pics. I have always liked OKC's downtown. Especially the older buildings.
CaptAWACS
Yeah to bad the pubco, and city place are almost empty. The pubco hopes to go the way of the Montgomery and be made into condos. We will see, the asian district condos are not doing to well, but loft sales are finally taking off north of Bricktown.Toby Keith's new restaurant is booming. Not that great IMO, but I got a free meal so I am not complaining. The Shawnee look to build a casino in Bricktown, and the city is pissed, but there is nothing the city can do to stop them due to federal law. That will be interesting, though will probably bring more folks into DT.Ciao, and Hook 'em Horns,Capt-AWACS, I post, You decide
Sooner&RiceGrad
I haven't heard about OPUBCO yet, and I thought I was more informed than most. I heard something about a 225 Main Street condos going up, or another historic converson, or summat...Yeah Shawnee is old news. I'll bet money (though not at the casino if built) that Mayor Cornett blackmailed the hell out of them. I haven't heard anything at all since the first week of when the Shawnee announced their wish to screw Bricktown.I hear the asking price of the Classen condos (Asian District condos you speak of) is a little high... uncertaintraveler
Those are great pictures, but they make OKC look a whole lot nicer than it really appears in person.
Sooner&RiceGrad
That's because they are pictures of Downtown and not Capital Hill.

IT wasn't old news July 10th when the post was made, though the City is working with the feds to stop it . As for being informed, well... I just went in with a friend's LLC on a Bricktown building where we will be making 4 lofts and two downstairs commercial properties. I'll post some before and after pics when I get back to OKC. It should work out nicely. Ciao, and Hook 'em Horns, Capt-AWACS, Friends don't let friends live in Oklahoma
