DistribAire P.E.
I have done searching on here and via google and got nothing. So I'll ask the obvious question - what makes a house a "mod" house? The seem to built anywhere from in the 1950s to last week, so not time frame specific. Never thought much of it, but have seen some really nice houses on here...
LTAWACS
I think it's what they called "modern" houses back in the 1950's/1960's or so. I dont think they build them anymore... unless the owner has it custom made...
infinite_jim
Modernism usually refers to horizontal planar design elements reflecting Wright's prairie school mixed with the the Europeans Bauhaus movement's material sensibility. At least that's what I gather from around here. Anything post-1980 should be considered post-modern even if it walked/talked/sounded like a duck.
