lockmat Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Wow, cool. The Jerome Gray interview with krbe that someone posted, Jerome said he would probably not be looking into tv media again.I wonder why they chose Houston and what this means for Houston's future as a media market? Quote

Also the Black Broadcasting Network (BBN)launched earlier this month and is based in Houston.I think he said that because it would look like he was just channel jumping because he had already been on 2 of the top 4 stations and he and his family didn't want to leave Houston. But since this is a new opportunity that is based in Houston but nationally and maybe world broadcast then this is a good chance for him to get back in media. totheskies Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 This sounds really cool!! I hope the network is successful. We should all Tweet and Facebook about it to try and spread the word. FINALLY some world recognition that doesn't center around Oil, Jesus, or Tropical Storms!!!! Quote
citykid09 Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 I was just thinking, maybe Rick Sanchez can get a job there. LOL! Quote
citykid09 Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) From the looks of their website, they don't look very professional. http://www.gbctv.us/ A kindergartener could have created better graphics. Is this channel still happening? Or is it even legit?Just remembered they don't start until March 3. Hopefully they re-launch their website before then. Edited January 12, 2011 by citykid09 Quote
editor Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Good luck to them. It's a crappy time to start a news program. Hopefully they're also opening offices in New York and DC. Quote
citykid09 Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 Has anyone seen this channel yet? Did it actually launch on March 3rd? Quote
