First off I want to tell you that this isn't spam I just wanted to tell everyone that I found this really great club downtown on Congress that is about a billion times better than Numbers. The club itself is called Blu Torch, next to La Carafe on Congress and they have a night every Thursday called Red Square. The music is synth-pop/industrial such as Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Front 242, VNV Nation and all that. The vibe was very casual and laid-back, not a fashion show at all. Everyone was really nice and me being a new-comer to the scene they were really nice. Try finding someone at Numbers who will give you the time of day! But yeah, I know you don't go to #'s to meet people, but it would be nice if you could get a light from someone or compliment them on their clothes or ask a question without getting the Look Of Utter Horror that Some Nobody Is Talking To Me.
