I recently looked at several homes there, but between the sparse number of mature trees and the high MUD taxes, it wasn't for me. I felt that I could essentially get the same types of homes in numerous other subdivisions, with lots more trees and 1/3 to 1/2 lower MUD taxes. Ultimately, I went down the road a bit and bought in Longwood instead. For me, it was absolutely the right choice to go with a more established neighborhood which also met my aesthetic needs. dmc Posted October 3, 2009 Author Share Posted October 3, 2009 I agree GC. The MUD tax is outrageous. That is the info I was looking for, as well as any flooding and crime. Something about that drive on Longwood Trace from Telge to Louetta is very appealing.
