marmer
Yeah, I'm thinking the vehicles look Mexican. (well kept original Beetle, Ford Ranger pickup). The For Sale sign is in English, makes me think a border town. How about Ciudad Juarez? It's in the mountains.

KinkaidAlum
I've heard that San Miguel is beautiful and the "Santa Fe" of old Mexico. That said, I guessed Leon because I didn't realize that San Miguel was that large and I knew that Leon-Guanajuato is where you fly to reach there. Definitely looks like a place I will want to check out sometime. I love Mexico. I pray that the drug violence will drop soon. It really is such a great country to visit.
