Talbot
Honestly, I am surprised the Texans are so high. But I guess it's good?
Subdude
Surprising considering that we're only the 10th largest market, and don't have the national souvenir popularity of the Cowboys eg. I wonder how they do the calculation.

I'm not a computer geek like most so I cant post the accessable link, but I did some research on the forbes site and I highly recommend you guys getting the info on your own istead of trusting EVERYTHING that is posted on this forum. But the list that I came across listed Houston Texans as No.5 worth 946 million not 3. And Dallas is worth 1.1 billion at no.2 with Washington at no.1 worth 1.3 billion.....It is good to be supportive and Optimistic, but let's try to be realistic at the same time. When houstonsemipro posted that list in March 2005, it was correct. The list you are quoting came out Sept. 1.

Good Job Dallasboi, way to keep your head in the game chief !

RedScare
Apology accepted. Looking at the charts, however, you can see that both New England and Philadelphia passed up the Texans...both Super Bowl teams from this past season. Bob McNair should look closely at this when he tries his grab for more NFL money. Good teams are more valuable than 1-6 teams.
NewMND
How is the value determined? Is it from merchandise sold. tickets sold, ads sold during a game, none of the above?
