Ralo
Has anyone had problems with sap falling from pine trees on to your parked car in the driveway? If so, how have you solved this problem? Did you find a new place for the car? Did you find a solvent to remove sap from car paint? Did you chop the pine tree down?Any help you can give is appreciated. Edited October 12, 2007 by Ralo

ricco67
The only sap problems I deal with are some of the morons I meet on a weekly basis. Go to Autozone, they have some stuff there that will help get it off. As far as the ongoing problem goes, try a tarp or a carport.
Guest Marty
I would cut all the pine trees down in your yard.
Mr. Chenevert
Put some gasoline on a rag and the sap will come right off. Dont forget to put some wax on the affected area as the gasoline will also remove that.
Vertigo58
Wonder how we can get rid of SAPS from the neighborhood?
Gary
I would cut all the pine trees down in your yard.Preach it brutha! The home I just purchased had one about 60 feet tall, and I cut that puppy down within the first week. Pine trees are not just a problem with sap, but have BIG problems with needles clogging gutters. Hopefully my HOA won't freak out on me.
travelguy_73
Of course a good coat of wax will help keep the sap from sticking. In order to get the existing sap off, look into getting a good clay bar treatment (for your car, not you).
