    I think Soapboxmom's only purpose for joining HAIF was to promote her website and generate traffic. I do appreciate the passion she has, but it does get tired quickly.

    The new website is GoMetroRail, the old Metrol Solutions site had a post that they stopped updating it and to use Go Metro Rail instead. ...or likely Redscare made them cry, not sure about Niche, he is usually hitting those Swampies in the Swamplot hard.

    So 5 stories is the new 4 stories for apartments. At least it will line up nicely with the Manhattan and Empire next door. I remember that the 90's it was all 3 stories. Eventually all apartments will be 10 story midrises. I am ok with it, it was an ugly empty lot for too long, and we still have plenty of lots to build taller buildings. McCue and Richmond is one example nearby.

    Whatever they do, I hope they bring the stores up to the sidewalk if they rebuild.

    Hardware is great, getting 2 again to replace the 2 I sold. But they have naming issues. I think the name, keeping it as "iPad" is a great idea, just a shame that the still kept the iPad 2. Confusing to those that don't ask or check. Also, resurrecting the iSight name is very random, since it's been used for webcam only, now that are using it for their rear camera, while keeping the front as a Facetime camera.

    Do you think they will bring the patio up to the corner of the sidewalk. That would make for some great visibility Especially with the thought of live music each night. It will give the Aloft Hotel guest another option too.

    I could not agree with you more. I was out on Washington back in 2008, and that was my first and last time. Nothing special and the crowd is way young, mostly college age. It's nice to see some mid 20's to mid 30's crowds with normal conversations.

    If you are referring to Midtown around Bagby and Gray, it's has a great nightlife. Even on a Wednesday, it was busy.

    Good to know. I have had the shakes at Smashburger and they have been delicious. Even better when they pop out a Groupon!
