  1. Ok, my question with this camera thing is..... Can the ticket be fought in court?
  2. Am I correct in assuming that the pickles are fried?
  3. Ok, I've heard some about these pickles, what are they and are they really that good?
  4. I know it's sick but I've laughed at this all day. Would someone please stop the insanity!
  5. I know Skyscraper page is not a favorite of some here, in fact I rarely visit the site myself, however Houston has two buildings on it's world buildings poster. The poster has a mock skyline with 33 of the worlds top highrises (or so they deemed), eleven of which are from the USA. Houston made it with two of it's towers, the Bank Of America tower and the Wells Fargo tower. Seattle, Chicago, New York and San Francisco were other cities from the US that made the rendering. If interested check out http://skyscraperpage.com/33worldbuildings/
  6. I know your kidding but I don't think it's such a bad idea.
  7. So it looks like my experience isn't unique to Katz. Good to know. One more question though.... How packed is it after club hours on the weekends?
  8. Theres also an IHOP near the Medical Center on Holcomb. Damn good eggs and coffee after an evening on the town.
  9. Really? The place was immaculate yesterday, of course it was a Sunday.
  10. Hey everyone, A buddy and I went to Katz yesterday and I've got to say, I had the best Philly cheese steak in history. Seriously, the meat was very good with very little fat, the cheese had a wonderful but not to rich flavor and the french bread was toasted to perfection. The price was a little high, ($9.50) but it was worth it. The service was also very good although it was a Sunday and fairly slow. Does anyone frequent the place? Is it this good all the time?
  11. Good point, I didn't think of that.
  12. Once again, Sounds like a Steven Wright quote
  13. Your right, Hasselbeck did his share of bungling the game to. I guess I'm dissapointed with Holmgren because I've always respected him as a coach and as a GM. He made some pretty bad mistakes. I thought Cower was brilliant from midway through the second quarter on.
  14. Yeah there were a couple of blown calls but the real culprit was Mike Holmgren, he really bungled the second half. I think the Steelers were so popular because there was no one else to root for.
  15. Yeah I've got the fiber pills ready for action.
  16. I wish my body knew that after a show
  17. Brookshire isn't a bad bet either.
  18. That's true, I mean your talking to a guy who used to want to be David Cassidy. However the music industry and more specificly rock music is a microcosim of what it once was. At one time on a pop rock radio station you would hear Southern rock, punk rock, hard rock, heavy metal, piano rock (Elton, Billy or Hornesby), garage rock (Stones), Blues (Stevie Ray or ZZ), some folk stuff, proggresive rock, ballad rock etc, etc. The point is that there are very few types of rock left in the pop mainstream and it shows with the new artist. Actually it's been coming for awhile (Nirvana and clear channel).
  19. As a proffessional musician I can tell you that downloading music (especially illegal) is a travesty to the music industry and will continue to destroy it further if something's not done. The only thing legal or illegal downloads do is promote a non known artist, for that it's great. The problem you find is, only the artist who has nothing to lose promotes online downloading, once one of them makes it to one degree or another they change there minds very quickly. Trust me I've been through it. On another crappy music note. Coog was right with his assesment of todays pop icons, they are killing any artistic integrity left in the popular rock culture.
  20. I have come to really like the Esperson building alot. Next would be Williams tower, I mean how can you not love this building?
  21. Imo, the greatest "famous" Texan of all time. Man that guy was from Mars!
  22. It's my excuse to drink Waaaayyyyyy to much
  23. Me and my buds are starting out with a 3:00pm visit to the Gingerman, then back to the house to grill up some dolphin (no not the porpoise). During this marvelous grilling, the Margarita machine will begin the drudging process of keeping up with 4 insanely thirsty people. I think I might be in trouble Monday morning
