DC Partners Acquires NY Firm to Broaden National Scope | Realty News Report
"HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – DC Partners, a Houston-based real estate and development firm, has expanded its national presence with the acquisition of New York-based Design Building Partners.
The strategic collaboration between the two firms will integrate development and construction, as well as acquisitions, capital and asset management."

R.G. Miller DCCM to move headquarters to Eldridge Oaks - Houston Business Journal (bizjournals.com)
"In another example of flight to quality in the office market, civil engineering firm R.G. Miller is moving to a newly renovated office tower in the Energy Corridor.
The firm, which was acquired by Houston-based design and construction management company DCCM in 2021, signed a long-term lease for 28,791 square feet at Eldridge Oaks, a 14-story office tower at 1080 Eldridge Parkway."

Rosenberg & Fort Bend County are looking to add a hotel with convention center to serve the venue.

"The development plan envisions structured parking and a full-service hotel with around 225 rooms.
According to county documents, the city and county will provide a tax incentive to the prospective hotel developer, featuring a 10-year rebate on the state's share of hotel occupancy taxes collected at the property."

Friendswood City Center groundbreaking pushed to April | Community Impact
"At a launch party for the development in December, officials said they expected the groundbreaking to take place in January, but that was moved to February shortly after.
Officials now expect it to happen in April, but were unable to provide a specific date, Kyndahl O'Quinn, executive assistant at Tannos, said in an email.“We are just wanting to be prepared,” O’Quinn said. “We are waiting on a couple of things that we have ordered for this event, and trying to make sure that the mayor is able to make it.”"

The numbers suggest that when it comes to tourism, the city’s recovery from COVID is complete, said Michael Heckman, president and CEO of Houston First."

"The smell of popcorn may once again waft from the entrance of the historic Cole Theater in downtown Rosenberg. William “Bill” Butler has donated the historic Cole Theater to Fort Bend County.
“We are honored to receive such a generous gift,” Precinct 4 Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy said. The 2023 FBC Mobility Bond featured $1.015 million for critical assessment and design work to rehabilitate the historic theater, located at 930 Third St."

"More than 23 million hotel room nights were booked during 2023, up 5.2% from 2022. Occupancy across the city rose 5.6% year over year, while average daily rate and revenue per available room — both benchmark measures of hotel performance — rose 6.3% and 12.3%, respectively.
Overall revenue and, in turn, hotel occupancy tax collected reached a new record in 2023, up 15% over the previous record set in 2018, Houston First said."

This is actually a pretty good review of the situation up to January, when the transit board had to decide on reinstating fares.

"Houston-based Johnson Development Corp. is breaking ground this week on a 2,400-home community west of Katy it is developing in partnership with Plow Realty.
The newly named Grange spans 1,130 acres from Bartlett Road to FM 2855 at Morton Road about 3 miles north of Interstate 10 and 6 miles west of the Grand Parkway.
Plow Realty is owned by Houston-based Hilcorp Energy Co. founder Jeffery Hildebrand’s family, which also sold the land to Johnson Development, according to Jacob Rice, general manager of Grange.
Plow Realty is providing financing and working with Johnson on the vision for the development, he said."

Sueba USA to break ground on Boardwalk Square in Katy - Houston Business Journal (bizjournals.com)
"About two and a half years after opening Katy Boardwalk Lofts, Houston-based Sueba USA will start construction on a second apartment complex at the developing Katy Boardwalk District near Katy Mills on April 8.
The developer just closed a $40 million construction loan with Amegy Bank, said D.J. Blanchard, vice president of development legal affairs at Sueba.
Located at 125 Prairie Parkway, Boardwalk Square will be built a block away from the first complex along a newly constructed road that leads to the boardwalk. Estimated completion is in 2026."

"His London House project, which broke ground last year, is wrapping up construction.
London House is a 12-story, 70,000-square-foot condo tower at 2323 San Felipe Drive, which has a total of 23 units. It's scheduled to be completed Oct. 12 and only has six units left to sell, Davis said.
“Our goal is to have completely sold all of the units in London House before it opens,” he said."

Fondren Park is a subdivision in Missouri City.

That park is actually Gammill Park, which is a city park. The building and pool are owned/operated by the subdivision itself and is for the use of thoseresidents.
The water tanks and equipment on scene appear to be tied to the Harris County WCID - Fondren Road and serve the Quail Valley Utility District & South Main Gardens based on the website.

"Intuitive Machines Inc. (Nasdaq: LUNR) was named as one of three recipients for NASA’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services contract, which has a combined maximum potential value of $4.6 billion for all awards to multiple companies. For Intuitive Machines, the initial award is valued at $30 million for a feasibility assessment, which will take a year to complete.
The vehicle will be used for NASA's Artemis III mission, which is the agency's first return to the moon since 1972. That mission is anticipated to launch no earlier than 2026. Intuitive Machines' initial award could be followed by further task orders with higher dollar amounts for a term of up to 10 years, the company said April 3."
