Has anyone noticed the shack that's getting refurbished on the corner just northwest of Louie's? It now has the noticeable teal green iron windows from rootlabof the plant development and Joybrush signs was parked there (part of the plant house/concept neighborhood friend crew)
I'm thinking (or rather hoping) this might be the brick and mortar location of Angie's pizza. I saw on their instagram they are hiring and they mentioned it will be "very close to Louie's"

I doubt this specific block will change much. The warehouse looks dilapidated but the inside is actually quite nice, with current offices and meeting rooms. If you peek in, it's has a very cool interior both in the lobby (retro) and the warehouse offices themselves. I wonder if the replat is to include the empty lot at Garrow + Sampson to enable expansion.

I still don't understand why that building has a gap, but alas.
I thought there was going to be a pool and an amenity center but now I'm not so sure

Just an update... We drove by last night. New furniture is in, the bar is stocked, lights were on and workers were inside. Clearly they were finishing some last minute details but I could see this opening within the next week or two

It's already been established in this thread that Eight Row Flint is opening its second location at 3501 Harrisburg Blvd, Suite A. Also, the news was widely reported last year.
I think the person was more so asking if the second location is ready to open.
Yeah! I was wondering when it'll open, and I'm secretly (and selfishly) hoping they change the name so that the East End doesn't get an "extension" of a concept or a "second location of Eight Row Flint" but rather a new, unique concept. Replications are rarely as charming as the original, I feel like a new Agricole concept that's more fitting to the venue would drive so much more business.

We walked by here the other day and there is significant work being done inside the former night shift property. The inside is much brighter, they added a window, painted white, etc. I'm curious when the 8 row equivalent will open under the new ownership - and what it'll be called.

@Moderators can you merge this with the existing topic: https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/46685-car-wash-coming-to-3125-navigation-blvd/#comment-637485

Finally. Filling those empty lots will rapidly transform the feeling of this area. They are desperately needed.

Any updates on this?

Does it mention any timeline for completion?

I don't think it's that simple, I bet since the street is rather wide there is a good amount of "minimum setback" and the fact that is is next to an intersection and the metro rail made the city probably not want 5 separate driveways so close to the corner but I'm not totally sure. I would have put the driveway in the back of the homes but anyways.
This actually makes a lot of sense given the high traffic of the area. Thanks!

There will be a large shared driveway in front. It is a bit unusual, especially given that each could have their own short driveway and a small backyard had the chosen a different layout.

"Shell building" is a common term used in permitting. It'll be across the street from the gas station.

Those are townhomes. We have a thread for this @Moderators:

This is so incredible. We live in the area and know the interior of these buildings are renovated and beautiful, but the exterior makes it feel untouched and forgotten. Can't wait for this area of the neighborhood to get polished up a bit.

I found the attached brochure, looks like they have one tenant so far.
I'm confused. Are they leasing it as an industrial building or changing it to retail? The photo on the banner looks like there will be a massive reno.

Last I heard, it's going to be a new project from the Eight Row Flint group.
There's a separate thread for that located here:

I think these are two separate developments. I guess we can wait and see!

Love love love this! Are these the same folks who bought the pita pal plant and the properties along canal?
Not the same people as pita pal. That is the same group that owns headquarters.
