They chose Chicago.

How is METRO, a company that doesn't believe in subway or above ground rail, going to deal with line intersections? Don't tell me all intersections will cross each other at the same level? I remember hearing about this in the past. Something about METRO planing to have the first same level crossing urban rail in the world. This would not be something to brag about.
Never stop amazing me.

Maybe some people at La Centerra in Cinco Ranch can help out Vintage Center

Santa, I want a Nordstrom in Downtown Houston. With doormen. Please? Not 'Lids'. Not a pretentious martini bar with a couple of bowling lanes. Nor a tapas bar. Just a Nordstrom. Please, Santa?
Thanks,

Beautiful!
Concrete sure is beautiful.

Again, hugely underserved market in this area stretching from 1960 up to 2920...from 290 to Kuykendahl. Great demos and very little substantial competition in that segment. The solution would be to do what was done in the Woodlands by offering incentives to big-name anchors which got the ball rolling on everything else.
The leasing/marketing team is either wholly incompetent (knowing nothing about this market) or they're distracted. It's a beautiful center and people are anxious to see some good retailers in there.
Demographics are there, but looks like people aren't willing to shop there right now. Like I said earlier, Willowbrook Mall is probably hurting Vintage Center a bit. But you say they need some big-time anchors. Who would you have in mind?

I went to The Galleria today, and for the first time, used I-10 in a long time. I must say, that new segment is kind of nice. Still wish rail was there, but the freeway was wide.
-
Wow. You're scared of Michelle Obama because of something the right-wingers spun the wrong way? Come on TJones.
-
I get the feeling that dotted segment showing a left turn onto Scott stands for "we don't know how the hell to do that."
Anyhow, apparently Phase 3 development calls for the East End line to curve south from Magnolia TC and meeting the Southeast Line at Palm Center.
Or to show that it will share track with the Southeast Line.

I know right. I'm hoping it turns out for the better (with Obama). I don't agree at all with the FISA bill. We definitely flip-flopped on that. But outside of that, he has been good and consistent in my eyes.

What thoughts should someone have, typical satirical trash rag, that makes it's living printing garbage.
The West Virginians are saying: "OH NOEZZ. TEH REPBULICANS WERE RIGHT!! ITS TEH BALACK SADDAM OSAMABAMA!!!!"

I think the trees would work best, but send me whatever you have and I'll see what fits.
Is that your pic, Trae?
Also, would Cinco Ranch warrant its own badge separate from Katy?
No, I found it on Flickr. First page when you type in "La Centerra". But not as a separate icon. Maybe an alternate Katy icon.
-
I know.
-
How exactly do I put it under my name?
I got some other ideas for Katy, too:
That's La Centerra in Cinco Ranch.

Speaking of Neimans, it's weird that Houston only has one Neimans and one Nordstrom. For comparison on Neimans, DFW has four I believe, and it has five Nordstroms. I think a Nordstrom would have worked best at Memorial City instead of JCPenney. I wish Neimans had stayed at CityCentre.

ABC 13 has the best.

When Obama decided to vote for the FISA bill and stated he would expand faith based programs, I had to wonder why I should even support him. What does "Change" mean, when you vote just like the Republicans? Democrats have been doing that for 7 years. I thought THIS guy would be different. But, now it is starting to look like the same ol' same ol'.
Almost. I still view Obama as different and more able to change America for the better. I'm still voting for him in November.
When Newsweek's 15 point poll came out, Gallup had Obama up by three. Now Gallup has Obama up by six.
Obama still leads in every single poll:

Night shift is boring because no one else is on. But if I'm not out or sleeping at 4:50 AM at night, then I'm on HAIF.
-
Good. I'll do that next time, because I have this planned out already. I have a friend who works at the Cheesecake Factory, and I'm asking her to put "Happy Birthday Kelsey" on the plate.
I'm so romantic. You guys should take tips from me
