  1. Wrong. God don't like people marrying the same gender, and that's in the bible. But like you said, let's stay on the topic.
  2. I thought the next big mall in houston area would be in pearland. They did mention words on pearland getting a mall also.
  3. The guy that i talk to at shamrock headquarters never told me breakground would start in december, but he did mention something about august they going to do something to the area. But listen, if its no breakground in december that means somethings wrong. Until then, we'll find out.
  4. I also like to mention that, U.S. plays big brother to much, and that what hurt us by letting to many forgieners come into america.
  5. Listen, Bush is going to win. Why? Bush has powerful leaders backing him up, even the man has power himself. Kerry looks like a wuss, and having edwards backing him up just for the southern votes. Yes, they might get some southern votes like the poor southern states, louisiana, mississippi, alabama, those type of states. For high power states like, texas, and florida they may get some going to vote for kerry, yes, but majority will vote for bush. Really Bush don't have any comp, cause look what kerry has compare to bush. Bush has ms. rice, powell, dick cheny (whatever his name is). But I do agree that things bush did I disagree with them 100%. He's hurting the u.s. by spending billions and billions of dollars just to help rebuild iraq to me I think that's dumb. Why you going to go over their and blow the city up, and then spend our money on rebuilding it? Now that was silly by bush. Did iraq spent their money and help us to rebuild the world trade towers, and piece back up the pentagon? The answer, hell no.
  6. Yes, I agree that Wal Mart is not a good place to work at, cause I have a sister that works there and she's complaining about the benefits they have is horrible. But you to admit it that Wal Mart stays crowed 24-7, I know the one in humble do. I went to humble Wal Mart one morning around 1 am, and that place was packed. Super Target will never see that type of crowed, at lease they turn into a 24 hr store, and i doubt that.
  7. Gunspoint now that was funny. But it's about time they doing something to that mall.
  8. Is this building is off the highway near those houses like you going to third ward? Is I'm right?
  9. Super Wal Mart is better then all of the stores. Why? Cause Wal Mart brings in twice as more money then the others, and bring in more business. Its also powerful that it runs other stores out of business, look at toy r us for crying out loud. Other stores trying to compete with Wal Mart, but I say just be yourself. If you try to compete with a powerful store like Wal Mart you will lose simple as that.
  10. You can check out the web site the one from New York's Palace Hotel to see how houston's would be like. http://www.newyorkpalace.com/palace_weddings_social_affairs/
  11. i heard it's different phases, and about 5-10 years it should be complete.
  12. The Port of Houston, one of the region's greatest assets, ranks as the nation's largest port in international tonnage and second in total tonnage. According to the report, total waterborne commerce in the United States reached a record 2.34 billion tons in 1998. The Port of South Louisiana was ranked first in total tonnage, followed by Houston and New York. Pretty good for New Orleans for once.
  13. Houston, can make up of different cities such as; new york, chicago, l.a., even international cities. They flim movies here to make up for those cities. New orleans is not even close to be an international city. Yes, New orleans have great architecture, and culture, but it's nasty, smelly, and the buildings look like its has mildew on them. i would never live in new orleans, but I'll visit. That's why people all over louisiana really wants to come to houston, or dallas cause of jobs, and more things to get into here. Texas is king of the south, and houston is #1, and everyday we're growing and growing. New orleans is light miles away from houston and dallas. So please don't even compare new orleans to the texas cities. I rather move to austin before i move to new orleans, and austin is not that big. I know alot of my friends from new orleans right now saying they wish they could come to texas, cause its ain't s.h.i.t. here. But New Orleans is a nice city to Visit, but not to live.
  14. Yes, I pass by there last week and they're building. This is going to be a awesome entertainment for houston.
  15. I got word that they will start building in december, but they will do something in the area this month.
  16. new orleans will never change. I haven't been there in 5 years, and I went there 3 years ago and still the same. Well, you have to look at it this way. New Orleans is a poor city, the whole city looks like a ghetto for crying out loud. To me, I can't see why people live there. But thats their home.
  17. If it wouldn't be for Lee Brown, there shouldn't been anything going up on main street. Main Street right now should still be a abandon place on weekends. Remember that.
  18. new orleans is not a place to live, and yes its dangerous. its look dirty also in those pics. I visited new orleans alot of times, smells like a damn sewer, but nice to have fun and come back home. That's why people that lives in new orleans rather live in texas, cause more nicer, more things to get into, and twice as more JOBS!
  19. What are you saying Montrose? Lee brown, he's the one created main street on come alive, and downtown. He's the one introduced houston to metrorail. he did alot to downtown. All mayor white doing is fixing money issues in the city.
