  1. Yes. Trae. I've mention Eagles and Dolphins. If the Texans lose their first 2-3 games, people will be talking again about the team and for not picking Vince Young, or Reggie Bush. I could see it right now.
  2. Trae, don't count the chickens before they hatch. Alot of people predicted that the Texans had a good team last season, and enter in the post-season. Did they? No. So, I'm telling you Trae let's not rush things just because they look good in training camp, or even preseason. When they win their first 2-3 games that's when you'll say they have a good team probably to make it to the playoffs. Have you seen the Texans 2006 schedule? The first 4 to 5 games will be a great test. We're talking about the Eagles, followed by the Colts, Redskins, then the Dolphins. Bye week is Week 5, and Week 6 is the big rivalary, Dallas. The Texans got their hands full in the first 4-6 weeks.
  3. Well, here we are ladies and gentlemen in the 2006 season. Can the Texans bounce back from the depressing season from last year? Or it will be a repeat? I say they wouldn't go 2-14 again, at lease I HOPE NOT! Gary Kubiak, the new Texans head coach been to 6 Super Bowls in his coaching career, an win 3 of them with 49ers and Broncos. So he knows how to form a championship team. My prediction for this season. Yes, my prediction AGAIN... I give the Texans 6-8 wins. No playoffs. Maybe, just maybe next year in '07 they may make it to the playoffs. For the players such as, David Carr. If Carr have a bad season this year like last year, he could pack his things up, cause Coach Kubiak will not talorate it. They will trade Carr for a better quarterback, or release him and just draft a top rated quarterback from college. So, Carr you better have an understanding season this year. As for the verterns. They need to step up and make plays this season, step up and be leaders for once. Be more vocal on the slidelines. In conclusion, the Texans need to win at lease 6 or more wins to get on the right path for next year. If they lose less then 6 games, they will find themselves going backwards instead of going forward. Let's see what y'all have to say about this upcoming season.
  4. I say bulldoze the theater. In with the new, out with the old. We talking about a Barnes & Noble here people, and condos. Just move the theater somewhere else. Matter in fact, get a Alamo Drafthouse theater in River Oaks. It's better then this theater that is there now.
  5. Let me guess. Another pipe dream? Why the hell should they build a mall bigger then the Galleria? That just plan stupid and a waste of money. The Galleria is the Mall of Texas. Besides, in Minnesota all they have is Mall of America. I've heard everybody in that city works for that mall.
  6. DUH! I told y'all in the beginning Houston don't have a chance. DUH!! But nooooo, nobody don't listens to semipro on here and I don't care, cause I'm always right on here. I was right about everything that I've posted on here since last year. REALIZE THE SEMIPRO! I NEVER TELL YOU WRONG. Let's start developing the Astroworld plot NOW!
  7. Target, or Super Target is waaay to high on certain things. Wal-Mart always have low prices, and I love to shop at Wal-Mart for my movies and groceries.
  8. ^^^ So, you telling me this is the final draft of the New 35 story Memorial Hermann tower they about to build in August, right? Also, what's the other building for? Where you get this rendering at?
  9. ^^^ And alot of people tour Disney and Dallas also. I agree with the project. It's addition to somewhere else to go to in Houston, and more tourist attraction. Bring it on!
  10. Change the date. Ground breaking is in August. Here's the article... http://www.globest.com/news/634_634/houston/147419-1.html
  11. I agree. Houston needs something like Kemah, or the Woodlands. Matter in fact, I was at Kemah this pass weekend and talking about packed. That entertainment would do some good near downtown, or the old Astroworld plot. What about just putting a broadwalk (something like Kemah's) and build a State-of-the-art Soccer Stadium together? All in one complex.
  12. I seen one doing the Smurf Dance taking a bath naked in the Tranquility Fountain.
  13. He's right about that one. Houston trying to host the Olympics, and can't handle something small like the Essence Festival. That's one strike against Houston for the Olympics.
  14. The Essence Fetival Committee probably already made they're minds up about next year's festival. I think they will move back to New Orleans, or to Altanta. Houston will not retain the festival, period.
  15. Damn! Houston is not going to have nothing after they sell Splashtown. First, Astroworld and now this. Is Houston going down the drain or what? Everybody now will be heading to San Antonio, Dallas, or even Florida to have a good time. I hope somebody feel sorry for Houston and build another theme park, or something.
  16. I bet you this project won't even start on September 15th. How much y'all wanna bet? I'm taking bets now!
  17. Oh, now the date change to September 15th. Then, its going to change to this winter, then back date it until next year. This is another ring around the rosie project.
  18. Houston will never get a big music festival like New Orleans, or other big name cities. Houston just not the place for it. For example, the Essence Festival. The popular festival came here to Houston, cause majority of New Orleanians was living here (temportary), and the music festival is also here temportary.
  19. I'll play smurf it up song, and do the two step in front of the hurricane.
  20. I'll stay in houston and piss in front of the wind.
