  2. http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/morning_call/2015/11/exclusive-new-details-revealed-for-first-micro.html $400-$535 / sqft, plus HOA fees.... no thank you, not for me.
  3. Please excuse the crappy rush-hour, out-the-window, drive-by picture, but here's the progress as of yesterday. At least you can get a good view of that corner they had to notch, just for that billboard to exist.
  4. I still don't get it... East of downtown, desirable, sure... but mostly due to it's affordability and proximity to downtown. This project would make a lot more sense in uptown, downtown, med-center, etc. places that aren't quite affordable to their target demographic.
  5. https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external/searchAction.jsp?action=displayOECase&oeCaseID=268616820&row=369 Crane may be going towards the beginning of November, with a work schedule from 11/09/2015 to 04/09/2017.
  6. You guys... What if this is a ploy to get the NIMBYS to realize that the Ashby high-rise really isn't that bad.
  7. Looking at the permits, looks like there are 4 separate building going up? Foundation / Sitework - $ 3,500,000 Garage - $ 1,899,975 Building 'A' - $ 6,310,821 Building 'B' - $ 6,369,121 Building 'C' - $ 2,376,442 Building 'D' - $ 4,543,640
  8. This one should start going north soon. It looks like they just delivered the first section of crane mast.
  9. This one is topped out now. http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/2015/10/skanska-tops-out-new-energy-corridor-office-building/
  10. Great news guys, They moved two of the port-o-potties across the site for MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY. Oh, and it looks like the foundation is coming along too...
  11. Slightly off topic, though something I think is interesting... While viewing the site on google's most recent street view, the smoke from Axis apartment fire last March can be seen from Ashby street. the street name, ASHby, coupled with the smoke in street view and the angry NIMBYs is a pretty ominous sign.
  12. They must really believe in that philosophy, because there's actually FOUR on site now. Moving along nicely... Have a crawler crane on site and starting some rebar work
  13. I have limited information, but looks like this one is underway. The plans were approved for permitting on 09/22
  14. Hey guys, Wasn't sure where to put this, so please move if it's in the incorrect place. I was browsing recent permits in my zip code and came across what looks like permits for a new apartment complex: Which appears to be on this 3 acre plot for sale: http://www.read-king.com/property/frankway-braeswood-blvd So my questions to you guys are, how can I find out any more information on this project? Does the fact that permits are going through mean that these apartments are being built? Do you guys have any other means to dig up some more information? Do the numbers within "NEW APARTMENTS 1-5-3-R2-A (MASTER OF 5) 100% SPR 2006 IBC" hold any information? Thanks, this is mostly for my curiosity's sake. So far I have found the builder, Allen Harris as well as a small blurb that it will be "284 units of urban mid-rise apartment homes" to break ground in May 2016 http://www.allenharrisonco.com/allen-harrison-2015-summer-update/

  16. http://fuelfix.com/beaumont/2015/09/28/energy-transfer-to-buy-williams-in-37-7-billion-deal/#35602101=0 Another name change looming? Energy Transfer Tower It'll still always be the Transco to me...
  17. Lots of work going on. Count 'em. Not one, not two, but THREE port-o-potties!
