  1. http://www.instantnewsbellaire.com/2015/09/21/39008/ I think I found a new spot to wait out traffic
  2. Well, it looks like the http://www.pjararchitects.com/#!museo-plaza/cem1 link is now dead. The renderings are no longer found listed in the projects section either...
  3. Nice, that's almost directly kitty-corner from the Bell Heights development, at the corner of 18th and Ashland St. http://www.bellheightshouston.com/ And both are walking distance to Torchy's... That could be dangerous.
  4. http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/west_university/news/construction-of-evelyn-s-park-begins-trees-to-adorn-new/article_abf8a24f-8d90-5e19-9e99-73b03123d59c.html http://www.chron.com/entertainment/restaurants-bars/article/Zelko-Concepts-will-operate-restaurant-in-6498023.php#photo-6685072
  5. Small update http://www.instantnewsbellaire.com/2015/09/08/38976/
  6. Regarding conceptualizations that have already picked out city blocks, such as this project... It is assumed that the developers have been in talks with the current land owners? Or is this as much of a surprise to them, as it is to us, to see a new tower concept on their property?
  7. This will be great if there is some traction to this project. Looks like surface level parking, a Whitney bank, the Mann eye institute low rise, and an abandoned car wash currently occupy the lots. It'll really add towards connecting the DT and the med center skylines
  8. http://opensource.mygroundbreaker.com/deals/297 Says it'll be a 95 unit complex. Where's the number 35 coming from?
  9. Looks like there's a small hang-up with who should be on the hook for the easements. http://www.chron.com/neighborhood/bellaire/news/article/City-rejects-free-rights-of-way-for-H-E-B-6466294.php There's also some renders here, on page 50-53: http://bellairecitytx.iqm2.com/Citizens/FileOpen.aspx?Type=1&ID=1233&Inline=True
  10. Ah, that makes sense then. I have a new interest in construction / development and I'm trying to get a better understanding. Thanks for the explanation!
  11. Interesting that they would go forward with the pour, with concrete work prices still elevated from the current boom. Seems like a wiser choice would have been to wait the prices out a bit, considering the vertical build is on hold as well, no?
