  1. Haha, no, thats my partner in crime. If you see another (shorter) chick wandering around in the same attire - I can pretty much guarantee thats me. Don't be afraid to say hi
  2. Correct. Garage goes to 8. Amenities on 9. Tower is 10 & up.
  3. I thought I heard the same, but apparently a contractor was selected a month or two ago, so I would imagine they are moving forward (for real this time)...
  4. Correct. The mast was placed Tuesday and now they're running line in.
  5. Mmmm. Who doesn't love the smell of concrete in the morning?
  6. Next pour. I'll have time lapse set up somewhere on the crane. Take. With a grain or two of salt though.... I've been meaning to do that since May.
  7. Regrettably, it isn't a mistake. I've been on many a project where the discussion is always the same... :/
  8. Hahaha. The programs do indeed have non white people. Whomever is commissioning the renderings is who determines what variety of people you see in said renderings.
  9. I didn't look too hard at which of the buildings shown are actual ZCA projects, but with Hines Market Square & the Woodbine development across the way, you wouldn't really want to advertise something competing in the same space as your project. As for 609 Main KHA is the AOR with PCA and then Gensler for interiors as I recall correctly. It'll be a landmark building downtown, but it isn't theirs. Just a thought.
  10. Having those tables and flat slabs is why that building is going up so fast.
  11. After doing a little digging, it looks like because the apartment/ tower footprint is smaller than the garage, so by the time is gets to 7, they've stepped it back far enough in to catch the tower in one place and the other looks like its trying to catch something near the pool on the amenities deck. I looks like it would still catch if they went vertical because those columns end up transitioning to rectangular, but I guess the way they need to spread the load of the slab is what determined where those columns need to be.
  12. Concrete is slated to go up another 6% at the beginning of 2016. Then, depending on how the market is, there is still the chance it hikes another 3% per quarter through '16. It won't be going back down. Now isn't a bad time - its busy, but oil prices tanking put a lot of things on hold. Once the play button is pressed again, we'll see even more hikes with minimal availability.
  13. Time to settle in. They're projecting a 19 hour pour. 4 pump trucks. They really needed 6. Hazards of working down town and only being able to get so many lane closures.
  14. I thought those were for tie in to the garage.. like pedestrian walkway so you dont have to go all the way down, outside, and around the block to the main entry.
  15. Now that we're moving up, we have more neighbors to stalk. Can't see much now, but in a few months we should have a decent view.
  16. It is a placing boom. It gets jumped every 5-8 floors in my experience. Depends on the job.
  17. Triton posted it. "$2,900,000.00 remodel of the parking garage. Construction permit pulled in Feb 24, 2015.". It won't buy much... Anyone seen concepts yet?
