Saw a couple of guys w survey equipment on the property. 

Looked into the company a little more and it’s associated w another company that is a GC. Hoping this is mixed use.

it was sold to Drudee LLC in the middle of last year. Can’t find much on the company. 

Looks like they own the other lots there too. 

This now has a for lease sign on the corner of the lot.

I’ve seen people going inside the old mechanic shop. Guessing this becomes a beer garden.

Haven’t seen a change in ownership per hcad though. 

Garbage on a prime lot. Would be better to keep it vacant. 

There should be a small tunnel system here. The Ion already has an underground floor or two. Might as well continue the trend with future developments.

I can’t help but think that it will effect future development in the immediate area too, as ordinances regarding the distance between schools and certain establishments (e.g., bars) will dictate what is allowed to operate. I assume those would still apply to a Montessori school?

I’m not a fan of putting a school here, but there are two scholar right near Minute Maid and Toyota Center. Incarnate and HSPVA. 

If this ends up being a Shipra Montessori, then it’s not all bad. Maybe they can contribute good architecture. 

Allied build multifamily. This will be a good addition.

HCAD shows a future neighborhood with multiple lots and all owned by TB Ennis.

This may be old. I believe that project fell through a few years ago.

This has to be a new build. There is nothing there right now. 

Greyhound company acquired by Flixbus. Maybe they have big plans.

Got an impromptu tour of this place. The delays have been due to design changes apparently, but they are hoping to be open within a month. 
 

This place is going to be packed with bbq lovers, if the kitchen equipment is indicative of their skill set to smoke and grill.
