Are you referring to the construction documents you linked to?Yes. I tried to edit my original post but wasn’t able to for some reason.

If they could get a little more parking, this would be a prime spot for a grocery store, IMO.

Please tell me that the developers of this project were aware of EaDo's parking minimum exemption?
I am sure they were, but apartment dwellers most likely want to have covered parking.
Also, the garage may serve as overflow for the patrons of the places next door.
Were you suggesting that they shouldn’t have built a garage?

What a blow to the ground floor retail enthusiast. The closure of such a high-profile well-known store. I'm sure this will affect other chain store's thoughts on expansion in the midtown area.
What is going on with midtown. First 24-hour Fitness, then CVS, now Whole Foods.
The 24 hour fitness was crap. Should replace w/ a nicer gym tbh.
The CVS was in no man’s land.
Whole Foods is too expensive for the neighborhood. Should be a Trader Joe’s or small Target.

My understanding is High Fashion Home is not leaving 3100 Travis St.
The food hall will occupy the first and second floor. Retail will be on the other floors.
This is going to be a huge project from what I'm hearing. The first and second levels are expected to undergo major renovations. I think with the size of the food hall and location, an announcement is likely soon to come. Was told from someone very close to this company that it’s not happening.

Looks like their crowd-funding campaign didn't get the necessary traction and it was withdrawn.
https://republic.com/blanc-noirSounds like this was a possible tenant according to the video. This building is going to take some good money to get in working order. An established tenant will make more sense ... but let's see what happens.

Got confirmation from the previous owner that this will be a coffee shop. Guessing Slowpokes.

IMO a grocery store in EastRiver would be too secluded from the rest of the East End and EaDo. It needs to be in proper EaDo to make sense. EastRiver is more of a destination, not necessarily part of everyday life ... at least not anytime in the near future.
There are multiple vacant lots on Leeland that are perfect for setting up a prime location grocery store. I think one of the lots is owned by the Catholic Church. Anyone know the Pope? Maybe he has some pull w/ HEB.

Perhaps the plans changed for the complex and these homes went up for sale.
Will be good to have more bars/restaurants there. Ideally, the apartments get built as well just with a slightly altered layout.

Looks like the design group focuses on a lot of retail and restaurants. Guessing this will be some kind of dining experience. Hoping for something fast casual. With so much parking, it would do well.

While dining last night, overheard that Street to Kitchen was working on moving to a space 3X as big "within walking distance" some time this fall.
They had to turn away 3 different walk-in groups due to lack of space, so I totally understand.
Within walking distance of what?

I enjoy having a coffee before a workout. Give you a nice little boost.

The trees, landscape, sidewalks, the entrance gates. They're both still parking lots but one is clearly nicer.
This one isn’t quite finished yet, so difficult to pass judgement just yet…

Striping and lighting going in. This seems to be a long term parking lot.

Looks like parking plus area for people in the backyard of a bar has been outlined.
Never mind. Looks like they are paving the whole thing based on what I saw when I drove by earlier.

That would be wild. I don't think that the property in Midtown has transacted yet, so their lease hasn't ended there. No way that they move without the lease being terminated.
No just a bunch of random buses. Different brands. I’ll try and get a pic.

The lot has a bunch of busses parked on it right now.

Yes. Maybe it’ll do better, but I have my doubts. We need more residential density in this part of midtown and on the southern part of downtown.
