Originally posted by me July 28, 2019 in the thread for 1212 Old Spanish Trail | Astrodome | Retail (reposting so previous content and comments are searchable on Google and through the forum's search): The former Toys“R”Us or Toys R Us building at 1212 Old Spanish Trail will have a full-time tenant soon. When the store closed a few years ago, seasonal holiday stores filled in the space for a couple of months. But building permits filed last week show a grocery store has taken over the lease here. The building will be remodeled. Sprouts Farmers Market, the health-forward grocery store that's almost a less expensive version of Whole Foods Market is going here. Other nearby grocery stores in the Astrodome neighborhood or NRG area are Fiesta (across the street), Super Target, and Kroger a block over on South Main. 1212 Old Spanish Trail is next to the Shops at Kirby Drive (Freebirds Burrito, Pizza Hut). It is not part of the Shops at Kirby Drive

It's in the Astrodome neighborhood or NRG area next to the Texas Medical Center area. The lot was previously Toys“R”Us or Toys R Us. Street View from October 2018
  3. Thanks for reupping this thread I created in July, @ekdrm2d1. This is not in the Medical Center (which is why when I originally posted, it,I didn't put it in this forum) This is in the Astrodome neighborhood, a neighborhood that will be exploding with redevelopment within the next 10 years (and why I continue to push for a dedicated forum for that neighborhood). 4. Originally posted by ekdrm2d1, April 9, 2019 in the previous thread for Grocers Supply Co. | 3131 Holcombe Blvd | Medical Center. Grocers Supply has so much land. They even have a terminal off Corder street. Tried to look for the demolished bldgs that were on the above demo report. Looks like they are behind schedule. 3006 Holcombe Blvd Looks like something was cleared here recently. Doesn't fit the two addresses above?

This interesting and ambitious "Confidential Master Plan" shows up on the Munoz Albin Project page on their Website. Thanks to research from another Haifer researching the Colombe d'Or tower. https://munozalbin.com/project/old-market-east-omaha-master-plan/ Originally posted by CaptainJilliams December 2018 in the previous thread for Grocers Supply Co. | 3131 Holcombe Blvd | Medical Center. Not to get anybody too excited, but here's the conceptual rendering from the link Naviguessor posted above:
