I agree it will be a surface parking lot for a while. But it has so much potential!

It does appear that is what he said. Understanding that he is in the business of marketing office space (so it's in his interest to exaggerate the scarcity) but still that seems like a wild exaggeration. Even if you consider that he may have meant only three good office sites besides those already spoken for (so excluding the sites for 6 Houston Center, 5 Allen Center, 1500 Smith, Allen Center Clay Street, the 50-story Chevron tower, the adjacent block(s) owned by Chevron, Capitol Tower, One Market Square)... So excluding those 9 or so good office sites, are there really only 3 good office sites left in downtown Houston?
What about...
Block 142 (Milam, Louisiana, Walker, McKinney)
Block 97 (Rusk, Walker, LaBranch, Austin)
Block 251 (Lamar, Dallas, LaBranch, Austin), which would in turn open up 275 and 276, which would in turn open up 291 and 292
Block 319 (Clay, Bell, Milam, Travis)
Block 318 (Clay, Bell, Travis, Main)
Block 317 (Clay, Bell, Fannin, Main)
Block 335 (Bell, Leeland, Travis, Main)
Block 352 (Leeland, Pease, Travis, Milam)?
And that's without getting into blocks that are/will be candidates for tear-downs (e.g. Block 257).
Too bad this Chevron building in dead.

wow, this is so exciting. they are definitely prepping for some sort of tower given the excavation work going on below grade. the question is when ? and how many stories tall ? crossing my fingers and toes !

Went to Alexlrad Bar near Midtown underneath the overpasses lots of tents. Many homeless people there. People laying in the streets. I saw at least 40 tents. It's was very sad.

When we go Downtown I take the 82 Westhiemer takes 10 minutes from Kirby. Some places want $40 to park which is crazy. It is safe and $1.25 each way.

The Earth Cam is very busy. I'm happy I did fly today!

He is now president of United and I think he is running the airline. He posted new flights from ORD. Also larger planes going from EWR-ATL. Now he will focus on DFW. Very smart hired from American Airlines. I saw his video and is going to take business from DFW.

Your right landing in terminal b and the planes are there and it is beautiful. I was looking for the UA Club but went home to tired.

Good competing with Air China. I would not be surprised if United flies IAH-PVG once they received more 777-300ERs. They are number one to China and will keep it that way. Delta is reducing flights out of NRT and making Seattle it's hub to China.

Kudos Houston First. Went to Biggio's on he second floor patio we met people from Nashville. They said everything was beautiful. They loved the pool at the Marriott. So we took them to Ninfas! We had so much fun!

It is ugly like he went China to get the design. Looks like the Museum Tower. Dallas deserve better.
