Did the battery die?
But we all know everyone wants a yugo

Well there hadn't been a post in over two and a half days It was only high because way off topic has been slow lately. Considering many people use the view new posts button it was buried on the 4th page. Now it is at the top.

Editor is this still affiliated with HAIF?

I only ask because it didn't seem like the link was on the mainpage anymore. But if it is, can't you make bumber stickers with cafepress. I am just throwing out ideas.
Also I noticed at the bottom...
"All your skyscrapers are belong to us."
nice

Then why did you bump it?

The Astrodome may have been some kind of marval but ultimatley it was a failure. First, they tried to grow grass indoors. Dah - that was a failure. They then had to come up with artificial grass. That was a success until we ended up with hundreds of athlete injured because of it. How many stadiums have now replaced turf with grass? Most of them. So, that idea was a failure.
The idea of a multipurpose statdium was a failure. Sure, it took 25 years for folks to accept that they are no good for either baseball or football. Many were built in 60s & 70s. How many are left? Not many and those that are are slated to be replaced with a baseball stadium AND and football stadium. Thus that idea was a failure.
The idea of a domed stadium was a failure. Again, many were built but they are most all being replaced. If they want them enclosed they make them with retractable roofs, Thus the idea of a domed stadium was a failure.
face it, the place is a mess and is not good for anything - TEAR IT DOWN
Well considering it was a marvel from an engireering standpoint, no it was not a failure. The only reason it could not have grass was because players complained of glare when catching fly balls. Thus causing us to paint the roof.
Also how was it a failure because decades later retractable roofs have become more common. Using that logic the piston engined planes were failures because later on the jet engine was invented.
Just because something better came along doesn't mean the the invention which led to the advancement was a failure.

Nice photos, I was downtown sunday also, but I probably didn't see you since you seem like you were on the other side.

Nice find Red

Man, why does this server let threads get so long? I mean we got 30 replies on the same page.
And on the HISD building, all I know is that htose big humps ontop of the building were originally for canons.
You crack me up plastic.
Also if you hate having fifty posts per page then just change it, it is that simple.

To bring up an old thread, the Empire is starting to rise.
According to their sign they are 50% sold.
10-23
EDIT: at first I thought it was too big, but it seems photobucket cropped it even more than I did. Which is odd considering it let me put a 2500x2000 one on earlier.

As of 10-23

Nice pics.
Is walgreen drugs the same as Walgreens? If it is on Navarro Street then I answered my own question.

Ephemeral City - "Houston is simply balencing on a fence, between a being a city, or simply housing a large population."
What page? Just curious.

They showed her four times for the same reason they showed Barbara Bush & Mathew McConaughey - she's a celebrity.
Michelle Branch.
Ohhh
Well I didn't know the picture, but I at least recognize the name.

Dude, it's about to be a sweep. But, your right they're not spanking us. They're kicking our ass
No they would be kicking our ass if every game was like 8-0 or 9-2 but every game so far has been close and we lose it in the end.
-
Remember you are not supposed to put full articles in the post.
-
"I think St.Louis and Chicago would have been a better game, then this one. Chicago thinks Houston is a joke."
By what logic? We beat StL so how would they have done better? Despite the fact that we are 3-0, every game has been close. It is not as if the sox are spanking us.
-
This game is stressful. Aren't we only one inning away from being the longest WS game?
Also great double play Astros! Oh and a strike out. Lets just try and end it this inning.
EDIT: Well now this is the longest game by time. (for WS)
-
Looking at Subdude's past posts, it seems lately there have been 10-15 day intervals so I don't know.
And about Houston jack, there are some people we just don't want to come back.
-
I saw him on the local Fox 26 news, but I didn't see him during the game broadcast. I haven't seen anyone except Babs. The network didn't even plant any stars from their future TV flops in the audience like they did in Chicago.
Speaking of showing people, anyone else notice they have shown this one girl with a white sox hat on at least four times. I don't remember them trying to represent the teams equally while they were in Chicago.
Also yes bottom of the ninth, we just need one run.
-
We still have a chance in this game. We have two on and two outs. We may get a run or two this inning to tie it up.
EDIT: What did I tell you!!!!
Go Astros!
Also I just noticed you can't double post anymore .
EDIT: damn it.
-
Man, Konerko!
4 - 2 and then it goes 6 - 4!
We better pull ahead.
Well if the ump could see we wouldn't have had that happen.
-
I have liked past seasons, but I think having a family edition was a bad move. Also are they staying in NA the whole time? From the episode or two I saw it was all in the US, but I think I heard someone say they went to Canada.

So is the white sox song the song from the end of A New Hope?

Yeah that is what I was thinking if we have it that is good, but if the virgin store falls through there are other options.
EDIT:Welcome to page 12. Also when do they update the number of views? It has been 21,841 for awhile now.
