wilcal
https://sbmd.org/trailsurvey/ Link to 200+ page report (which I've only glanced through) TLDR: 10.75 miles of new length. About 7 off-street trail. First 2.4 mile segment construction to start next year Signature bridge to go over White Oak Bayou:
Texasota
That's great. I'm a little concerned about the sections proposed to be neighborhood bikeways, but overall it looks pretty good.

With the cost/effort they were spending, I would assume that they might not have much of a choice.
cspwal
What's nice is it looks like the "neighborhood bikeways" sections are feeders into the main trail - the whole main trail between White Oak and the reservoir is either off street or dedicated ROW on-street

august948
Phase 1 is complete and open to the public... https://theleadernews.com/community/first-phase-of-spring-branch-trail-complete/ I haven't found any info yet on the rest of the phases and the timeline. It'll be sweet once they get this done, though. Downtown to Cinco Ranch or maybe even Fulshear will be a heck of a ride. Might even consider it a weekend getaway and spend the night in either downtown or Katy depending on which way you're coming from.
