  1. “The development will include a high-end, 4-star hotel, but the team has yet to secure a brand for the hotel, Crane said. The entertainment district is slated to include restaurants and an indoor tailgating area that can be used year-round. It will also include a walkway above the street, which will take guests directly to the club level of the ballpark. The organization has hired an architecture firm and construction company for the project, Crane said, but the team did not confirm which companies it's working with prior to publication. Crane said the organization hopes to break ground on the project following the conclusion of the Astros’ season and that it could take about three years to complete. He added that the team might build the development in phases, with some parts of the entertainment district opening sooner than others”
  2. Love this and was excited the first time they did it but I got an ask— does anyone actually use the outdoor dinning space? It always looks like no one actually uses the pace when in drive by.
  3. I heard a rumor that Little Woodrow’s is moving to this space— Has anyone heard the same?
  4. They’ve been serving the park from their food truck for a little while now, doesn’t excite me for my taste but good for them. Now we wait to see what replaces the Woodshed restaurant.
  5. I was here a month or so ago on a Saturday afternoon and there was a good size crowd.
  6. They could have at least matched the font they used for the MMP sign. My hope is maybe they have plans to add something there next off-season or in the future. Maybe that’s the plan seeing how they went minimalist in the area where the trees once were.
  7. These are at least a few years old. I remember seeing them on here somewhere, most likely in this thread. I remember liking the renderings initially but looking with fresh eyes it’s not as impressive as I first thought.
  8. Appreciate the input! I would use mine strictly for fun as I’m nowhere near a photographer.
  9. Your pics do not scream new at this 👏🏼 Mind if I ask the drone that you use?
  10. Any idea why there’s been no news on Crane’s project?
  11. Are these your pics? I want to get a drone and need some advice. The clarity of these pics are awesome 🤩
  12. It feels more like an office cafeteria than the other food halls to me. I do like the bar in the middle though.
  13. Well, we know what it looked like before all that signage for one thing. Also, most people on this forum care about design and architecture and when the stadium was built this certainly wasn’t the vision. It looks like a mess.
  14. All great ideas- I wonder how feasible a rooftop park actually is? I think if they would finish off the rest of the building with the clear glass facade (replacing the dark glass) the way they did the middle part that would make a huge difference. Replace the white columns with the red as they did in the middle as well, and voilà!
  15. No doubt the area around GRB is the best part about the whole thing. I’m a sucker for cool renderings I’ll give you that ..
  16. How do we feel about the remodel of the convention center years later? I have mixed feelings myself. On one hand I absolutely love what they did at street level and the added glass facade, but part of me feels like they could have went bigger and better on the rest of the building— part of it still feels dated to me when you look at it. I'm asking because Dallas released plans to redevelop their convention center and it’s really impressive. Do y’all agree or am I just being a tad bit jealous?
  17. The other suite will be a Coco Crepes— Looks fairly close to completion as well.
  18. Right? but I think it says a lot about Crane that he’s willing to spend for even the slightest improvements. He’s added to the stadium every year he’s been an owner and I love it!
  19. How in the world did you find this? Y’all are good man.
  20. I wonder what they’ll do with all that space up to the sidewalk.
  21. I didn’t think much of this place until I heard that their goal is to provide healthy Meals at affordable prices so I looked up their menu and oh boy they weren’t playing about affordable prices. $3.24 breakfast burritos, $6.24 Salads—both with protein. $1.24 24oz iceed coffees and teas. I’ll definitely be checking them out.
  22. I have high hopes for this. I hope I don’t get disappointed!
