I-45 Rebuild (North Houston Highway Improvement Project)
A plumbing permit /demolition permit was purchased yesterday for 909 Chartres St. Details from the permit: Use: Use: Demo building / sewer disconnect FCC Group: Demo; other building(s) The sewer disconnect is in preparation for the demolition of the building on the property. I think the land is part of the I-45 expansion (Interstate 45 expansion). County records show the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) purchased the property earlier this year. The building is on the corner of McKinney St and Chartres St in East Downtown (EaDo). It is next to 907 Chartres, which is currently home to the restaurant and club named Society (Sociery Kitchen + Kocktails). -
