Parrothead
There used to be a restaurant that my parents would take us to that was so marvelous, it was on the ship channel's turning basin, and was closed about 4 years ago (much to my teary surprise). I cannot, for the LIFE of me, remember the name. I think I am in a tryptophan stupor from all the turkey I ate today and yesterday I am not talking about Brady's Landing, but it was right next door. This had much more character and was quite romantic sitting in front of the fireplace and having a brandy.

Parrothead
That's it!! Thanks so much. I tried to take hubby there on one of our earlier dates, and when we got there, there was a note on the door. I always wondered what happened! It just broke my heart, I adored that place! Did they actually tear it down? My goodness. Brady's Landing is still there I believe, right next door.
TJones
I went to Shanghai Red's a few times back in the 80's. Once in High School a big group of us for Homecoming or Prom, they were hating us by the time we left.
