editor
Ever wonder how they wash the windows on those shiny new skyscrapers that are popping up all over the third world? Simple -- Tie a barefoot 15-year-old to a rope, give him a squeegee, and let the magic happen. In this picture, the urchin is on a ledge about 80 feet off the ground. After I snapped this picture, he scampered off to rub the crow poo off another level.

editor
it's either this or putting together Nikes with toxic glues and plastics!?Or selling food on the streets. Or being a messenger. Or any of ten-thousand other jobs an enterprising young boy can do. It's a myopic Western myth that the only jobs in China are working in Western sweat shops. I suspect that myth was cooked up by politicians and political groups for their own purposes.
