SpaceAge
Move Over, McMansionsMicrohouses are on the riseBy Annelena Lobb When Scott McGlasson, a St. Paul, Minn., furniture designer, bought land for a vacation house on Little Pequaywan Lake, he knew he didn't want to build a large, traditional house like many of those he had seen going up in the region."There are a lot of people building McMansions on lakes, but I really like small, simple things. And as a designer, I'm steeped in modernism
houstonmacbro
$160,000 for 800 sq. ft. of living space seems like an AWFUL lot of money. even if they are gorgeous to look at, save on utilities, and impact the environment less.

UrbaNerd
Well, it is a MOD; albeit, a MOD trailer home, essentially...Imagine seeing one of these next to some of those palm harbors, or winnebagoes. Yessireee.
Lowbrow
I was looking into getting one of those Romero LV homes about a year back to put on my dads ranch for my sister to live in. My dad pulled the plug on the project because it messed with his intentions to build a tutor style villa on the property.
Jersey01
I like the Rocio Romero LV Home Kit too as a second home. Marmol+Radziner have great prefab homes as well, and use higher end products. But they are a little expensive. I'm not too familiar with this Geoff Warner Microhome project.
