lockmat
They got some more recent news at the website now: town homes to be built: The permitting process for construction of the Town Center buildings is underway and groundbreaking is not far away. These mixed-use buildings will combine retail shops and lofts. Prospective owners can look over the loft plans at the Beachtown Sales Office & Information Center and put their names on the list for reservations. Lofts will have two bedrooms/two and a half baths or three bedrooms/three and a half baths, and will range from 1376 to 2215 square feet. news: The City of Galveston, along with county authorities and the Coast Guard, is working on the establishment of a 600-acre lagoon preserve that would include a nature center and a walking trail system news: New decorative signage - white with Beachtown blue lettering - will blend beautifully with the architectural environment. Even the decorative mounting poles complement Beachtown's traditional neighborhood design. pictures at site actual photos: http://www.beachtowngalveston.com/beachtown_gallery_arch.htm This place is great Edited September 14, 2007 by lockmat

TheNiche
From their website:http://www.beachtowngalveston.com/home.htmSome of the homes did sustain roof and siding damage. To say that they are intact is accurate, but so are most of the homes in Fish Village being listed for sale "as-is".
