civic_mark
I am looking for an open plan loft or studio... for rent or purchase along light rail.I have already seen Post Mid Square Phase II (the Green slime)'s horrible construction, awful plans, just plain poorly designed and executedANDDakota, too far from rail stopsANDthe plethora of "Apt Homes" e.g., Calais, Ventana, Oakwood, Camden, etcWhat gives? Any first-hand, occupied opinions are greatly appreciated.
Subdude
Welcome civic. Have you considered something like "Vistas at Midtown". They don't look that expensive and they will be fairly close to the rail. On the other hand, I don't think they have the open plan.
UrbaNerd
Currently, the residential scene is dismal in Midtown, and along the rail, if you want something not too expensive ( the nicest offering is Il Palazzo, but that is VERY expensive) Hopefully, we have some good stuff coming on the scene soon. dalparadise
Try Isabella Court, right on Main. You get a historically significant building in the Mediterranean style, mostly set up for retail, though many spaces are residential or live/work. Plus, it's quite inexpensive compared to other, less authentic loft offerings. You'll watch the train run right outside your door. The real estate office is on-site. These are rentals. The New Juniper
Take a look at St. Germain Lofts. They are located at the corner of Main and Congress. They have been rental for many years, but are now moving to condominiums, so I am told. Not sure who is selling them, but Randall Davis is Owner.
